CobblemonNPCUtils

by Stampede

CobblemonNPCUtils is a server-side Fabric utility that makes working with Cobblemon NPCs somewhat easier for server owners and builders.

FabricServer-side onlyMozilla Public License 2.0Open source1.21.1

What it does

The mod adds a set of helpers for Cobblemon NPCs, bundled as Molang functions that scripts can call. The functions cover item presets, location presets and economy actions, so a single NPC interaction can handle several steps without custom code. Because it is a server-side mod, only the server needs it and players join without installing anything.

Installation requires Cobblemon, Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin, and all three must be placed in the server's mods folder. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21.1, with version 1.1.1 as the latest build from 2026-01-11. The first release dates from 2025-06-19. The code is released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, so the project is open source, and public links exist for the source code, the issue tracker and the wiki, where configuration options are described.

Key features

  1. Item Presets functions

Four Molang functions handle item presets, so NPC scripts can give or check predefined item sets.

  2. Location Presets function

A Molang function works with location presets, letting NPCs reference saved positions by name.

  3. Economy functions

Four economy Molang functions let NPC scripts work with in-game currency during an interaction.

  4. Configurable behavior

Options for the utilities are documented on the project wiki, where server owners can adjust them.
