Client Backpack shows a backpack on the player's model that reflects the items carried in their inventory, changing its look as contents change.
What it does
The mod is cosmetic: it adds visual backpacks that change appearance with the inventory, and it does not add any storage or functional backpack. Its models replace the backpack visuals of other backpack mods such as Sophisticated Backpacks and Traveler's Backpack, so the look of those mods' backpacks can be changed on the client.
Client Backpack needs Fabric API and Faewulf's Lib as required dependencies. The players need the mod on their own game, while a server can skip it, so it works in single-player and multiplayer. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with files for 1.21.1 only, and the latest file is 1.1.0 for 1.21.1 from 2025-07-28. The license is Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0, so the mod is not open source, though its source code and issue tracker are public.
