War of Resistance Equipment adds 1937 uniforms and gear for the Chinese army in the Second Sino-Japanese War, with a melee weapon and a set of soldier roles for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge.
What it does
The mod adds uniform sets modeled on the German-equipped Adjusted Divisions that fought in the 1937 Marco Polo Bridge Incident and the Battle of Songhu. The current build is themed around the July 7th Incident, and the author describes the models and textures as a first pass that later updates may refine.
The mod also includes the Dadao Great Sword, a melee weapon that deals 19 attack damage at an attack speed of 1. It requires Geckolib, which must be installed alongside it on Forge. Both the server and every player need the mod, because the environment is client and server. The license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
