Chickens Drop Eggs changes the loot table of chickens so that each one drops an egg when it dies, a change made as a data pack for Minecraft 1.21.4.
What it does
The change keeps vanilla behavior: the feather drop, the raw and cooked meat drops, the burn status, looting scaling and explosion decay all work as they do in the base game, and the mod alters only the egg drop. The data pack suits lightweight modpacks, where players want a steadier source of eggs without wider mechanical changes. The server must run it, while players may leave it out. Latest files are 1.0.1+mod for 1.21.4 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, released 2025-07-22, and the code is licensed as All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Every chicken that dies drops an egg in addition to the default loot.
