Better Rotten Flesh changes what players can do with rotten flesh, a common drop from zombies, by adding a new flesh item and crafting routes for it.

What it does

Rotten flesh becomes more useful in this mod. Alongside rotten flesh, the mod introduces a second flesh item that players can get in two ways: crafting meat ringed by eight rotten flesh, or killing a mob that normally drops rotten flesh, such as a zombie, with a sword enchanted by Preservation. The new item can be eaten without the hunger effect, and it can also be smelted in a furnace into leather. The server and every player need the mod installed. Forge and NeoForge builds cover 1.20.1 – 1.21.8 under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, and the code is open source.
