Certain Questing Additions
With Certain Questing Additions installed, quest screens gain entity previews, animated hovers and shader backgrounds for each chapter.
What it does
The mod adds a set of small quality-of-life changes and UI animations to quest screens. Quest descriptions and chapter backgrounds can show entities and APNG animated images, and each chapter can use a shader-based background. Hover effects, smooth panel transitions and zoom effects are applied across the quest screens, and every animation can be tuned or turned off in the in-game config, opened with /certain-questing-additions config.
Architectury API is required, and the mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 18 release versions, 1.20.1 – 1.21.11. It is client-side only: only the client needs it, and the server can run without it. The code is covered by All rights reserved, so the project is not open source, and source code and a wiki are linked from its project page.

Use cases
Story-driven quest books
Modpack authors who write narrative quest chapters can use entities and animated images to illustrate scenes.
Who it’s for: Players who use quest-driven progression in single-player or in a modpack, and pack makers who want livelier quest screens. Because the mod runs only on the client, it does not need to be installed on the server.
