Cassetu's Better Chat Control - CBCC

Cassetu's Better Chat Control, abbreviated CBCC, is a Fabric chat filter that collapses messages containing links, excessive capitals, spam or repeated text, so the player decides what to reveal.
What it does
Messages that match a filter are replaced with a placeholder reading Message Hidden, followed by the reason and a View button. Clicking the placeholder restores the original message in the local chat only. Nothing is deleted, and the message stays hidden until the player chooses to view it.
The filters cover messages containing URLs, which can lower exposure to phishing attempts and unsolicited promotions, along with capital-heavy lines that exceed a configurable length and percentage cutoff. Repeated lines from one sender beyond a configurable count within a rolling time window are hidden as well, and very short replies such as GG pass through untouched. Toggles in the settings hide spam, phishing links and toxicity or harassment, and the Open Config, Move Down and Toggle Selected Enter options handle the settings screen.
The mod is client-side only, so each player installs it and servers need nothing. It runs on Fabric and requires Cassetu's Better Config - CBC, Cassetu's Common Library - CBCommon and Fabric API. Cassetu's Better Sticky Keys - CBSK is optional. Files are published for 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1.2 and 26.2, with 1.0.6 for 1.21.11 as the latest file, and the code is under All rights reserved, which means it is not open source.

Collapsed messages
Matching messages appear as a placeholder with a Message Hidden label and the reason, instead of their full text.
Link filter
Lines containing web addresses collapse, lowering exposure to phishing attempts and unsolicited promotions.
Uppercase and repeat filters
Mostly uppercase messages past a set length and percentage collapse, and repeated messages beyond a threshold within a time window are hidden.
Local reveal
Clicking a collapsed message restores the original text in the local chat, and nothing is deleted.
Short message exemption
Very short messages such as GG are ignored by the filters.

ChatLookup is an open source Fabric mod under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, client-side only, with files for 1.21 – 26.3. Chat Filters is also open source under the same license, client-side only on Fabric, with files for 1.21.9 – 26.2. KKS Chat is open source under the MIT License, client-side only, and covers 1.21.1 – 26.1.2, a wider range than CBCC's 1.21.10 – 26.2 builds.
