Bonecraft: Dominion

by PixelArcadia

Bonecraft: Dominion is a necromancy and colony management mod in which a necromancer raises persistent minions that gather resources, build structures and work within a player's domain.

What it does

Summoned minions in Bonecraft: Dominion are not temporary combat buffs. They stay in the world after they are raised and join the colony the player builds, taking jobs, constructing specialized workstations and automating production as the necropolis grows. Workers carry out their tasks on their own, which keeps the settlement productive while the player explores or practices magic elsewhere.

Progression centers on organizing minions, assigning responsibilities and managing resources rather than on crafting ever more complex machines. Villagers can also be drawn onto a darker path by a Corruption system and transformed into loyal acolytes. The mod is inspired by village-management games and sits alongside other mods rather than forming an isolated progression track.

The mod requires Geckolib and Patchouli. It is client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it is released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. Builds are published for Fabric and NeoForge across 17 release versions, 1.20.1 – 1.21.11.

Key features

  1. Persistent minions

Summons remain in the world as workers and do not vanish after a fight, so they keep working over time.

  2. Colony job assignment

Minions can be assigned jobs and responsibilities, and workers build housing and infrastructure for the settlement.

  3. Villager Corruption

Villagers can be lured onto a darker path and converted into loyal acolytes through the Corruption mechanic.

  4. Necropolis growth

The necropolis expands as workers construct specialized workstations and automate production in the colony.
