Bikes Are Pain

Bikes Are Pain adds an in-game bicycle that players can ride, and it can be linked to a real-world exercise bike for pedal-controlled riding.
What it does
A functional bicycle becomes available in the game and rides like a vehicle. Players can dye its parts, and a pedometer records biking data over time. A fitness bike connected through an Arduino can steer the in-game bicycle through real pedaling, which is optional. Without a fitness bike, the mod still works as a regular bicycle mod.
The mod needs Architectury API, Fabric API, Geckolib and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) as required dependencies. Dehydration and Mod Menu are optional. Serial communication for the fitness bike link uses jSerialComm, which is licensed under Apache 2.0, and third-party license details are listed in a THIRD PARTY LICENSES file. Bikes Are Pain runs on client and server, so both sides need it. It is published for Fabric and NeoForge with files for 1.21.1, under the MIT License, and the code is open source.
Development is in an alpha stage. Core functions are implemented, while refinement, optimization and further feature additions are still planned. A server auto-check disables the mod when the server does not have it installed.
