BetterChat

BetterChat lets a player hide chosen kinds of chat messages, such as player chat, system chat or messages matching a keyword pattern.
What it does
Chat can be cluttered on busy servers, and the mod lets a player filter it on the client. Message types can be switched off individually, including player messages and system messages. On large servers with active chats, hiding player messages can make the rest of the feed easier to follow. A player can also block messages containing teleport requests while still chatting and running commands. Keyword blocking uses regular expressions, so a pattern can match more than one term. Some messages, such as player messages, can be classed as system messages on certain servers, and the filter follows the classification the client receives.
