Better Shulker Boxes

Players who keep items in a shulker box can inspect and move its contents from the inventory without placing the box down, using the Better Shulker Boxes tooltip.
What it does
Better Shulker Boxes replaces the vanilla hover preview of shulker boxes and Ender Chests with an interactive tooltip. The full 27-slot preview lists every item, and a compact mode merges duplicate stacks, shows the five largest stacks and counts the rest in a footer. Totals are written in short form, so a count reads 1.7k instead of 999+. A flat, rounded card takes the dye colour of its box, with the container name and selected item shown in tabs along the top edge. The mod is open source under the MIT License and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it, with Cloth Config API and Fabric API required and Mod Menu optional.
The tooltip can be navigated with the mouse wheel or arrow keys, and specific slots can be selected and extracted together. Items can be taken out of a box straight from the tooltip, which avoids repeatedly placing, opening and breaking boxes. A Restock Deposit key, bound to R by default, moves matching items between the inventory and the hovered container. Colour theme sliders adjust the look, and the previous default style and the vanilla style remain available. Files are published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt across 26.1 – 26.3.

Shulker / Ender Chest tooltip is a Fabric and NeoForge client-side only mod for 1.21.7 – 26.3, under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and is open source. Shulker Box Tooltip is open source under the MIT License, works on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.16.5 – 26.3, and needs the client while the server may skip it. ShulkerOpener is a Fabric mod for 1.21.10 – 26.2 that runs on client and server and is not open source.
