Better Mods Button
by Fuzs
With Better Mods Button, the pause screen gets a mods button again, placed and styled through a set of on-screen options.
What it does
The button returns to the pause screen, where it opens the in-game configuration screens of installed mods, where those screens exist. Position, label and visibility are adjustable, so the button can sit wherever the player prefers on screen.
A total mod count can be shown beside the button, and the update notification glyph can be switched on or off. Configuration of the mod itself is done in-game through Config Menus for Forge. Forge and NeoForge are supported, with files published for game versions 1.18.2 – 26.1.2. Only the client needs the mod, so servers run without it. The mod is open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0.

Customized pause screen
Players who prefer a different layout can move the button to a position that suits their interface.
Who it’s for: Players on Forge or NeoForge who want a mods button on the pause screen, and who want to adjust its placement and display options.
How it compares
No Report Button is client-side only, open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and covers Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.19.1 – 26.3. Pause Menu Tweaks is also client-side only and open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, but it targets Forge for 1.12.2 alone, so it does not cover the versions this mod supports.
