Bento Util is a general utility library from Chai, built for other Bento modules to draw on, with a Color class, QuickText formatting and translation slots.
What it does
The library bundles a fully-featured Color class that parses many color formats and integrates with Text Placeholder API, which ships inside the mod. Developers can use the same API from within language translation files. Inline code comments in JavaDocs format, along with a wiki page, describe the library's classes and methods for developers. Fabric API is required, and the code is under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so it is open source.

A Color class reads many color formats and works together with placeholders in text.
QuickText formatting
Wrapping a string in square brackets activates QuickText formatting for that string.
Translation slots
A new tag lets language files use translation slots.
