With Chai's Elytra Enchants, an elytra can carry two treasure enchantments that change how it launches and how high it lifts the player.
What it does
The mod adds two treasure enchantments for elytra. One of them lets the wearer bounce off the floor and hold a jump, which allows skipping across terrain. Each level of the launch-speed enchantment raises the speed of the deploy, and level one gives a 5 block height gain, level two 8 blocks and level three 11 blocks.
The mod runs on the Fabric loader and needs Fabric API to start. Trinkets is optional and is not required for the enchantments to work. Because the environment is client and server, the server and every player need the mod installed. Files exist for 1.20 – 1.21.1 in seven release versions, and the code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so the project is open source. Bounce-and-hold enchantment
One enchantment lets the elytra bounce off the floor and hold a jump, which makes long, low-friction skips across terrain possible.
Faster launch with higher levels
The launch-speed enchantment increases the speed of the deploy at each level, and players gain more height as the level rises.
Height steps per level
Each level of the height enchantment gives a fixed lift: 5 blocks at level one, 8 blocks at level two and 11 blocks at level three.
Treasure-only availability
Both enchantments are treasure enchantments, so they are found in the world and not offered at ordinary enchanting tables.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players who use elytra for travel on Fabric, both in single-player and on multiplayer servers. Server owners who want the enchantments available on their world need the mod installed on the server as well.
How it compares
Chestplate Elytra is a Fabric mod for client only, released under the MIT License and published for 1.21.11, so it does not change what the server does. Elytras+ is a Fabric mod for client and server under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, open source, with files for 1.20.1. Disable Elytra runs server-side only under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, open source, for 1.17 – 1.20.4, and its purpose is to turn elytra off rather than extend them.
