Keep a weapon always ready: BackSlot adds a backslot and a beltslot to the inventory, mainly for weapons, bound to hotkeys.

What it does

The backslot holds swords, tools, tridents, ranged weapons and fishing rods, and the beltslot holds swords, tools, flint and steel, and shears. Pressing G moves the item in hand to the backslot, and Shift with G sends it to the beltslot. Players who change the hotkeys after each restart can install amecs to keep them fixed. Required dependencies are Cloth Config API and Fabric API. BackSlotAddon requires this mod and lets both swords sit on the back. The mod is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, is open source, and works on client and server, with files for 1.19.2 – 1.21.1.
