AxolotlClient - Customizable HUD & Client QoL Features
With AxolotlClient installed on the Fabric, Quilt, Legacy Fabric or Ornithe loader, players can rearrange heads-up display modules and toggle a set of PvP-oriented client features.
What it does
The HUD modules are ported from an earlier heads-up display project, and players position and configure them through the client's settings. A friends system, a freelook option, beacon beams, low fire and low shield indicators, and a hit color setting are included among the client features. Some features depend on a backend service, and players are asked to consent to its terms before those features are enabled.
AxolotlClient runs on the client only, so servers need nothing installed to let players use it. It requires Fabric API on Fabric and Quilt, and Legacy Fabric API on Legacy Fabric and Ornithe. The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later, with public source code and an issue tracker. Builds cover 1.8.9 – 26.2, and snapshot builds are published as well.
The project credits the original author of the heads-up display modules and AMereBagatelle for the FabricSkyBoxes work it draws on. The maintainers state that the mod does not support cheats or hacks, and that options which could be read that way will be removed.
