Autospeller
by Ovillya
Autospeller adds spelling and grammar suggestions to the chat window for players typing messages in Minecraft.
What it does
Autospeller checks text as a player types it into chat and highlights likely mistakes, offering corrections for spelling, grammar and punctuation. The mod is still in early development, and at this stage it supports French and English only, with other languages planned for later. It runs on the client alone, so servers need nothing installed to receive the corrected messages.
The mod is available for Fabric and NeoForge across five release versions, 26.1 – 26.3, and it is released under the MIT License as open source. Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) are required, and Mod Menu is an optional addition.
Key features
Spelling suggestions in chat
Suggested corrections appear as the player types, so a word can be fixed before the message is sent.
Highlighted corrections
Likely mistakes are marked in the chat text, letting the player see what would change at a glance.
French and English
Checking covers French and English by default, and further languages are planned for future builds.
