Auto MLG
Auto MLG is a server-side mod that automatically catches a fall by placing a water bucket or powder snow bucket when a player looks nearly straight down.
What it does
When a player falls, the mod checks whether the player is looking down at least 80 to 90 degrees and then places the bucket that was set up in the pack, letting the player land safely. Players receive either a water bucket or a powder snow bucket once the pack is installed, and the behavior is disabled by default so it can be switched on through an interactive toggle menu.
The mod also raises the jump height by about 5 blocks, and it can be paired with the optional Auto Mace MLG pack to extend the same clutch behavior to mace falls. The mechanic only reads the main hand, so an item held in the offhand does not trigger it. The data pack form lets a server owner enable automatic clutching without a separate mod loader installation.
Auto MLG is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 22 release versions, 1.20 – 26.2, under the MIT License, and it is open source. It is required on the server and optional for players. Source code and an issue tracker are publicly linked.
