Too Much XP removes laggy experience orbs through a data pack, so players with large XP totals keep their level bar high and can still enchant.

What it does

The data pack stops experience orbs from piling up as lag, while the level counter and enchanting still work. Players who have noticed heavy slowdowns from XP drops, or who want to keep their levels for enchanting, can use it without losing levels. Mob farms run far lighter, and survival or creative worlds lose the constant orb clutter.

Too Much XP is distributed as a data pack for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, covering 1.20.3 – 26.2. The server must run it, and clients may skip it. It is open source under the MIT License.
