Aurae!
by Team Chorus
Aurae! adds ambient effects to Minecraft, covering the End portal, the Eye of Ender, cauldrons, campfires, Sculk Catalysts and Trial Spawners.
What it does
The mod adds new visual and sound effects that play around existing blocks and items. Effects are tied to the Eye of Ender being placed, to the End Portal and End Gateway, to Sculk Catalysts spreading, to water and lava cauldrons splashing or popping, to campfires, and to Trial Spawners summoning mobs. The effects are meant to make these parts of the world feel more alive without changing how they work.
Aurae! requires Configuration, which must be installed alongside it on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. It is published for three loaders and three release versions in the 1.16.5 – 1.21.1 range, with files for 1.16.5, 1.21 and 1.21.1. The latest Fabric and Forge builds are 1.1.0 for 1.16.5, released on 2024-11-13, and the latest NeoForge build is 1.1.0 for 1.21.1, released on 2024-11-02.
The license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. Public links exist for the source code, the issue tracker and the wiki. The first release was published on 2024-10-06 and the last update on 2024-11-13.
