Astro! adds a gravity-themed armour set, a sabre and two gravity bombs built around the Mauveine material for Fabric 1.20.1.
What it does
The mod adds a Mauveine armour set that is crafted from netherite scrap, amethyst and gravity-related materials. Each worn piece lowers gravity, so one piece reduces it to 70%, two pieces to 50%, and three or four pieces to 30%. Holding Shift with the three extra pieces equipped toggles between low and normal gravity. Players who move around with low gravity can use it to manipulate their movement.
Alongside the armour, Astro! includes a Mauveine sabre, a quicker variant of the sword that deals less damage, and two gravity bombs. The low gravity bomb creates a radius of low gravity around 6.5 seconds, pulling affected entities to 10% gravity, and the high gravity bomb creates the same kind of area at 200% gravity. Entities wearing three Mauveine armour pieces ignore both bombs.
Astro! requires Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin and Gravity Changer (qouteall fork). Servers and players both need the mod to run it. Files target 1.20.1 only, with the latest Fabric build 1.0.4-1.20.1 dated 2024-11-10. The code is released under the MIT License, but the mod is not open source.
