Ascended Arts adds Jian swords, Scythe weapons and Hanfu armor sets to Epic Fight, with a slight wuxia and xianxia theme.
What it does
Epic Fight and Epic Fight: Skill Tree are required, and the mod runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Builds are published for Forge and NeoForge, for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, under All rights reserved, and the mod is not open source. Public source code is available.
The Jian is a sword family with tiers from Wood to Netherite, plus Unique and Large variants. The Scythe family has smaller scythes in the same tiers, and a crude soulsteel scythe gives a small scythe weapon style for a sword that lacks one. A greatsword and a double saber are listed as planned weapons, and the author notes floating daggers and extra skill categories as work in progress.
Hanfu armor sets are made from cloth with an unarmored base and a simple smithing upgrade path, in the same tiers as vanilla iron through netherite. They have extra durability and enchantability compared with the base armor, are dyed white by default, and can be recolored with dye. Trims use a modified Hanfu trim and a higher-resolution 3D texture, so vanilla trims apply correctly.
