Epic Fight: Skill Tree is an addon for Epic Fight that replaces the mod's Skill Books with a skill tree screen, where players spend Ability Points to open skills.
What it does
Players open the skill tree with the K key by default. Skills appear in the order they are learned, and they are linked to each other by connections. The tree is split into pages, which are switched with page buttons. Some pages stay locked until a condition is met. Each skill needs a set number of Ability Points before it can be taken.
Ability Points come from Ability Stones, which drop from hostile mobs and from chests like the original Skill Books did, or from converting experience on the skill tree screen with the experience orb button. Consuming an Ability Stone grants a point without costing experience. Skill Books are removed from the loot tables, though they remain in the creative tab. Skills learned from existing Skill Books are not affected.
The addon is an official one, supported by the Epic Fight developer team and updated for compatibility with the main project. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and the code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only.
