Arbitrary Delight
by Ri0t
With Arbitrary Delight installed, Farmer's Delight gains new meals, drinks and ingredients that are cooked in the Cooking Pot or crafted at a table.
What it does
Arbitrary Delight extends the cooking system of Farmer's Delight with a growing set of recipes. Many of them use ingredients already added by Farmer's Delight, while others introduce new items. The stated aim is to keep the additions in the style and balance of the base mod and of vanilla Minecraft, so the new food does not feel out of place. Future updates are planned to expand the recipe pool further.
Farmer's Delight and Farmer's Delight Refabricated are both required, and the mod is listed as a Farmer's Delight add-on. Just Enough Items (JEI) is optional but recommended, because it makes the recipe collection easier to browse. The content is in beta, so new items and balancing changes are still being added. The client and server both need the mod, so it has to be installed on every side that plays the game.
The mod is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Files exist for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and the latest build, 1.2.1, was released on 2026-06-18. The code is open source under the MIT License, and public links exist for the source, the issue tracker and a wiki.
Key features
New cooked meals
Additional meals are cooked in the Cooking Pot, using both Farmer's Delight crops and new ingredients.
Refreshing drinks
Drinks are added alongside the meals, widening the food that players can prepare and carry.
New ingredients
New ingredients tie into the crops that Farmer's Delight already adds, so they fit the existing farming loop.
Direct crafting recipes
Some of the new items are crafted directly at a table instead of being cooked, so not every recipe needs a pot.
