Apples & Carrots +
Apples & Carrots + adds apple and carrot variants that take on properties from ores and other common resources, for players who want their food to carry effects.
What it does
Each apple is crafted by surrounding a golden apple with a resource, such as coal, stone, iron ingots, diamonds, emeralds, redstone blocks, slimeballs or lapis, and the result takes that resource's name. Coal and carrot versions release smoke particles at the feet and give 12 pieces of coal. Other variants grant short timed effects like speed, regeneration, jump boost, strength or luck, and the Netherite Apple grants a stronger mix. The mod also adds a potion called Bounce that makes the player launch up and then fall down slowly.
The mod is a Forge addition for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, with files for six release versions and 1.0.0 for 1.20.6 as the latest build. Because it runs on client and server, the server and every player need it installed. It is not open source and is released under All rights reserved. The author notes mention 20 or more new carrots and other items, so the full item list is easiest to check in the game.
