Diamond Apples lets players craft new apple and carrot variants that give effects similar to golden apples and golden carrots.
What it does
The mod adds several apple and carrot types, each with its own effect, and crafting recipes for them that work the same way as the recipes for golden apples and golden carrots. Effect durations and amplifiers are the parts most likely to differ from vanilla, and the author describes the balance as deliberate. The mod runs on both the client and the server, so a server and every player that joins it need the mod installed. It is published for Forge and only for 1.20.1, with the latest file, 1.2.1-1.20.1, dated 2024-05-30. The code is All rights reserved and is not open source.
