AnyBind
by sawiq_
Players who want one key to open a link, launch an app or send a chat command can set that up in AnyBind, a Fabric keybind mod for Minecraft 1.21 – 26.3.
What it does
Custom binds are created in a bind editor and appear inside the Options menu, next to the vanilla key bindings. A bind can use a keyboard key or a mouse button, several trigger keys at once, and modifier combinations that require Ctrl, Shift and/or Alt. Each bind has a name, an enable switch and an action type with its own parameters.
Actions include opening URLs, opening files, folders, apps and scripts, running scripts, and sending chat or game commands. A native file picker selects files, folders, apps and scripts without typing paths, and script filters follow the selected interpreter. File and app actions stay blocked until a global switch that permits command execution is turned on.
Dangerous actions are protected: each bind can ask for confirmation before it runs, with an optional checkbox to stop asking. The mod is client-side only and is installed only on the client, so servers do not need it. Files are published for Fabric only, and the code is under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, so it is open source.
Key features
Keybinds in Options
Custom binds are listed in the Options menu beside the vanilla controls, so they are edited where other keys are set.
Multiple trigger keys
One bind can be assigned several keyboard keys or mouse buttons, and can require Ctrl, Shift and/or Alt.
Native file picker
Files, folders, apps and scripts are chosen in a file dialog, with working directories set without typing paths.
Confirmation for dangerous actions
Each bind can ask before running a dangerous action, with an option to stop asking for that bind.
Script and chat actions
A bind can run a script, open a URL, or send a chat or game command when its keys are pressed.

How it compares
Keybind Manager is a Fabric mod for 1.21 – 1.21.11, client-side only and released under the MIT License, so it stops at the 1.21.x builds. Chat Macro is also Fabric and client-side only under the MIT License, covering 1.21 – 26.2, but it is not open source. Peripheral reaches 1.21 – 26.1.2 under the MIT License and is open source. Quacky's Better Keybinds and Enhanced Keybinds also differ: the first is Fabric for 1.21 – 26.3 under the MIT License, the second is Fabric and Quilt for 1.21.4 – 26.2 and is open source.
