Anvil Crush

by Ma124

Anvil Crush is a Fabric server mod that changes how anvils behave in survival, controlled through Carpet rules.

FabricServer-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.18 – 1.19.2

What it does

The mod adds a set of Carpet rules that change anvil behavior in survival play. Its options are grouped under one experimental feature switch, and each rule carries a default value, so a server owner can see what the setting is before changing it. Rules are set in game or in the Carpet configuration, and the server can turn each one on or off independently.

Anvil Crush needs Carpet to be present, and the Carpet build has to match the game version. Because the mod is server-side only, players join without installing anything. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the project has public links for its source code, issue tracker and wiki.

Files are published for Fabric only, across the 1.18 – 1.19.2 range with five release versions. The latest file, 1.6.2 for 1.19.2, was released on 2022-09-10, and the first release dates to 2021-12-11.

Key features

  1. Experimental anvil survival rules

A group of Carpet rules toggles experimental anvil survival behavior, each with its own true or false setting.

  2. Default values per rule

Every rule has a stated default, so the server starts from a known state before any option is changed.

  3. Carpet rule integration

The options are exposed as Carpet rules, so they can be edited with the same commands as other Carpet settings.

  4. Server-only operation

Only the server runs the rules, and clients connect without any local installation.

Use cases

Who it’s for: Server owners running Fabric who already use Carpet and want anvil rules in survival. Players on such a server need nothing extra.
