Animation vs Player brings the Alan Becker Animation vs Minecraft series into the game through a staff that players hold in the off hand, as a Forge mod for 1.20.1.
What it does
A staff is placed and then held in the off hand, and a right click with the main hand block triggers its action. The mod is at an early stage: its beta release includes only a limited set of features, and most of what it describes is not yet implemented. Further survival gameplay is planned but not yet available.
The author states that the project is unofficial and not affiliated with the original creators. The project is a new take on that series. The mod runs on the client and on the server, so both need the Forge build. It is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 4.0 license and is not open source.
