Angel Extra Utilities adds decorative and functional blocks for NeoForge 1.21.1, inspired by the Extra Utilities 2 mod and aimed at builders who want unusual block types.
What it does
The mod adds a set of blocks that combine looks and function, including the Angel Block, Deep Dark variants, bedrock and cobblestone bricks with stairs and slabs, and several kinds of glass such as sandy, thickened and bordered patterned glass. Creative water, energy and lava sources are included as well, along with compressed forms of sugar cane, cactus, cobblestone, sand, stone, dirt and gravel, and a sugar cane planks mosaic.
The project is still in early development, and the author says more blocks are planned for later releases. Only the client needs it for display, but the server must also run it, so the environment is client and server. NeoForge is the only loader with files, and the 1.0.9 build for 1.21.1 was released on 2025-09-08, after the first publication on 2025-09-01. The code is under the MIT License, and the mod is not open source.
The mod needs no other mods to run. Players who want distinctive building blocks for the 1.21.1 range will find this build the only option the catalog lists for that loader.
