Always Sprint Fix

by uuirco

Always Sprint Fix keeps the player sprinting whenever vanilla Minecraft allows it, so the sprint key does not need to be held down.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21.11

What it does

Once a player joins a world or server, sprinting starts on its own and stays active after respawning, changing dimensions or teleporting. The mod only turns on sprinting where vanilla already permits it: sprinting stops when hunger is too low, and it does not bypass Soul Sand or other movement rules. Sneaking still ends sprinting, as it does in vanilla.

The behaviour can be switched off at any time with the alwayssprint toggle. The mod does not add items, blocks or interface screens, and it does not change speed or other stats. It requires Fabric API and is published for Fabric only, for Minecraft 1.21.11. The environment is client-side only, so servers can run without it, and the license is the MIT License, though the project is not open source.

Key features

  1. Automatic sprinting

Sprinting is kept on whenever vanilla Minecraft allows it, so holding the sprint key is unnecessary.

  2. Persistent across changes

Sprinting resumes after joining a server, respawning, changing dimensions or using a teleport.

  3. Respects vanilla limits

Sprinting stops when hunger is too low and is not possible while sneaking, and Soul Sand slowdown still applies.

  4. Quick toggle

A toggle bound to alwayssprint turns the automatic sprint on or off during play.

What the author says

Always Sprint keeps your player sprinting whenever vanilla Minecraft allows it. No more pressing the sprint key after joining a server, changing dimensions, respawning, or teleporting. This mod does not increase your speed or bypass vanilla mechanics—it simply makes sprinting automatic.
