Aliven't Messager
by A11v1r15
Aliven't Messager posts a chat message on the server when a named mob dies, is killed by a player, or blows up.
What it does
The mod sends a chat message when a mob that carries a custom name dies. Unnamed mobs produce no message. Messages can also report which mob was killed by a player, so server owners can follow kills on a busy world without reading the log. Named Creepers get their own explosion message when they blow up.
Zombie Villagers are covered as well: when one finishes converting back into a villager, the mod reports the conversion. Villagers that have trades are included in these messages. Mobs that killed players can be configured separately, so the settings let a server choose which events reach chat.
The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything, and only the server needs it. It requires Fabric API and MidnightLib. Files cover game versions 1.19.3 – 1.21.10 on Fabric, with 1.3.4+1.21.9 for 1.21.10 as the latest file, first published 2023-01-13 and last updated 2026-08-22. The code is open source under the MIT License.
