Adventures Updates's Bow changes how the bow is charged and fired on Babric and Fabric worlds running b1.7.3 through StationAPI, replacing the simple right-click shot.

What it does

Bow firing in b1.7.3 is ported from the modern bow mechanics, so a bow is drawn by holding the use button and released to shoot, with a charge that grows over time. The click-to-fire system from the original game is replaced. Players who want the newer feel can keep the behavior on their own worlds, while the server and every player run the same version of the mod.

The mod also brings two bow variants: an elemental arrow option and a phoenix-style bow from the Aether content. Creative players can use the BHCreative Unlimited shooting mode without carrying arrows. The project is MIT licensed and open source, with its source code and issue tracker public.

It needs FarnUtil and StationAPI, both installed alongside it on Babric or Fabric. Files exist for b1.7.3 only, and snapshot builds are published as well.
