AccurateFPS+
by gingermat
AccurateFPS+ is a client-side FPS HUD that shows framerate, frametime and percentile lows in a layout the player can shape.
What it does
The HUD displays seven performance metrics, among them live FPS, frametime, average, maximum, minimum, 1% low and 0.1% low values. Frametime is shown in milliseconds next to the FPS figures. The FPS value can be calculated as a real-time reading, an exponential moving average, or a plain average over a history window of 1 to 60 seconds, and the history statistics use retained samples for the maximum, minimum and low-percentile values.
Colors can follow a smooth gradient that blends between the customizable low, medium and high colors, instead of switching between fixed colors. An automatic mode adapts the color thresholds to gameplay performance using an EMA baseline, while a manual mode lets the player set exact thresholds. The mod ships Minimal, Competitive, Detailed and Custom layouts that can be switched quickly, and the framerate slider has an extended range. Settings are grouped into four categories, and a game restart is required after installation.
Installation needs Cloth Config API and Fabric API on Fabric, with Cloth Config API also required on the other loaders. Mod Menu, Sodium and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) are optional. Only the player's game needs it, and servers run without it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with the latest builds targeting 1.21.11 and the release range covering 1.21.1 and 1.21.11. The code is open source under the MIT License.
