Accretioned Horizons
by LamonDamon
Accretioned Horizons is a Forge magic mod for 1.20.1 that adds a space-themed dimension, where an asteroid caught in a black hole's accretion disk holds rare resources.
What it does
The mod adds new items and blocks built around the power of a black hole, along with a new dimension. Its centerpiece is an asteroid pulled into the disk of gas around a black hole, and that rock holds rare materials and some unusual remnants. Players reach it through the dimension rather than the overworld.
Progress is tied to collecting ten Deepslate and lighting it with Nova Dust. Using a Horizon Opener on that setup permanently makes the asteroid accessible, and the mod's items let players gather and store Black Hole's Power. The author notes describe the features as hidden content meant to be discovered through play.
Accretioned Horizons runs on Forge and is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and only the server needs the mod. Files are published for 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, with 1.1.0 for 1.20.1 as the latest file. The mod requires MCreator Link at the matching version, and it is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Use cases
Exploring a space progression
Players who want a magic path with a space theme can work through the asteroid and the black hole's resources step by step.
Who it’s for: Players who enjoy discovering hidden content and progression through exploration will find the most in the mod, which suits a single-player world or a server running the mod.
How it compares
Endless Horizons is a Forge and NeoForge mod for 1.20.1 – 1.20.4, with client and server environment and All rights reserved licensing, so it covers a wider range of loaders and versions. Kai's Black Hole is a Forge mod for 1.20.1 that needs both the client and the server, and it is All rights reserved too, so it is a different take on black hole themes at the same version.
