Nether Scattered changes the Nether with new blocks, items and tools, aimed at a dimension that the author describes as largely unchanged for several releases.

What it does

The mod adds new blocks and items to the Nether, including the Diarack, a sword-style tool crafted from four Nether Quartz, four Nether Bricks and one Diamond. A Blazing Diarack Sword sets enemies on fire without needing the Fire Aspect enchantment. Other items include a Nether Totem, which grants Resistance II while it sits in the inventory, but only inside the Nether, along with the Diarack Block, Braunite Block, Experience Soul Block and more.

The author's stated purpose is to give the Nether more items built around its own materials, since the dimension has changed little over time. The mod runs server-side only, so players join without installing it, and only the server needs the files. Forge is the only loader covered, and the release is for 1.19.2 alone, with the latest file 1.3.7 dated 2024-05-08. The mod is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.
