XYZ Scythes

The mod adds five scythes made from iron, nether materials, sculk, blood and ender ingredients. Each one is built from vanilla resources, so the recipes stay close to the base game, and each scythe comes with the sweeping edge enchantment already applied. The sweeping edge level scales with the cost of the craft, and damage and attack speed sit between those of axes and swords.

The scythes use a right-click ability and a charged click ability, so each weapon has two uses. The iron scythe clears foliage around the player, the nether scythe shoots a fireball sized like a ghast's, and the sculk scythe fires a sonic blast that deals high damage and can make nearby entities glow through walls. Players may also use the blood scythe to push out a wave that cleanses the user of potion effects, and the ender scythe to throw an ender pearl or open a menu for creating a nether portal and setting a spawn point.

XYZ Scythes requires no other mod and runs on Forge. It is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files cover game versions 1.20.1, 1.20.2 and 1.20.4, with 1.20.4 as the latest Forge file, and the code is open source under the MIT License.
