Xerca's Kitchen
by xerca
Xerca's Kitchen adds a wide set of cooking content to Minecraft, covering dishes from several cuisines, drinks, fast food, pizza and cupcakes.
What it does
The mod groups its food by cuisine. Japanese dishes in the mod include sushi, donburimono rice bowls and omurice, while Turkish cuisine adds kebabs, döner stacked from mutton on an iron bar that turns beside a fire or campfire, sütlaç rice pudding and ayran. Cheese and yoghurt are made with traditional copper vats, and a cheese slice can be cut with a knife and eaten directly. Pizza starts from a base that players top with cheese, tomatoes and other ingredients, and the mod lists 56 pizza recipes in total.
Drinks range from tea, ayran and sake to milk, water and fizzy or caffeinated sodas. Fizzy drinks grant a Haste effect, and sparkling water can be harvested from bubble columns. Fast food includes burgers, sandwiches, wraps and fries, while sweets such as pies and cupcakes add more variety. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Fabric and NeoForge builds cover 1.21.1 – 26.2, and the project is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.
Key features
Multi-cuisine dishes
Japanese, Turkish and other cuisines each add their own dishes, with a few that carry special mechanics.
Pizza with custom toppings
Players build pizzas from a base and a selection of toppings, using any of 56 recipes.
Drinks with effects
Fizzy and caffeinated drinks give a Haste effect, and sake carries a higher chance of drunkenness than beer.
Crop and seed drops
Seeds drop from grass at random in the same way wheat seeds do, so new crops can be gathered without farming.
