WATER BUCKET. RELEASE!
Water Bucket lets a player place water from a bucket by launching it forward, downward or at mobs, a technique the author describes as bucket-clutching.
What it does
The mod changes how a water bucket is used. Instead of pouring water at the feet, a player can hurl it right out of the bucket at high speed, including while falling or crouching in midair. Looking straight down and throwing the water gives the projectile enough velocity to outspeed the fall, so the water lands on a chosen center block. The author warns that this takes practice and that players will need to get used to the timing.
The water can also strike other entities. Projectiles launched from the bucket push mobs away, and other players can be hit as well, so the mod can be used in fights and on multiplayer servers. Angry mobs may follow as a result. Water Bucket is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. Only the server needs to run it, and players may leave it out. Files cover 1.20.1 – 26.2, and the mod is released under the MIT License but is not open source.
