Wardenage

by Bubobaric

Wardenage spawns a Warden in response to a set of player actions, such as placing blocks or hitting entities and blocks.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21.1 – 1.21.4

What it does

The Warden is spawned by the mod when a player performs certain actions. The author notes that the spawn triggers on several kinds of action, including placing blocks, hitting entities and hitting blocks. Because the trigger is tied to play rather than to the world, a Warden can appear in places where vanilla would not produce one.

Installation requires Fabric only. The mod is released under the MIT License, which is not open source, and its files cover four game versions, 1.21.1 – 1.21.4, with 1.1 for 1.21.4 as the latest file. It is client-side only, so a player adds it alone and a server does not need it. Builds were first published and last updated on 2025-02-27.

Key features

  1. Warden spawns from actions

Certain player actions cause a Warden to spawn, so its appearance depends on what the player does.

  2. Placing blocks triggers spawns

Placing blocks is one of the actions that can summon a Warden in the world.

  3. Hitting entities triggers spawns

Striking an entity can also cause a Warden to appear, adding a combat-linked trigger.

  4. Hitting blocks triggers spawns

Breaking or striking blocks is another action that can bring a Warden into play.

Use cases

Triggering Wardens during play

Players who want Wardens to show up through ordinary building and combat can use the action triggers instead of commands.

Who it’s for: Players of Fabric 1.21.1 – 1.21.4 who want Wardens to appear through in-game actions rather than from natural spawning or commands.
