Ward Watch

Players who want a locked storage door on a Fabric server can use Ward Watch, which adds password-protected doors and protected chests to Minecraft 1.21.11.
What it does
A protected block opens only after a player enters the correct code, and it closes again after about three seconds. Redstone cannot open a protected door, so an automated contraption does not get past the lock. The password is asked for the first time a block is set up, and only the player who protected it can break it.
Ward Watch is a Fabric mod that is installed on the server and on every player's client, because both sides need it. It requires Fabric API. Files are published for Minecraft 1.21.11 only, and the latest one is version 0.1.5, dated 2026-05-16, on the alpha channel. The code is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, so it is open source, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
The author describes the current focus as building a solid base with security-style gameplay. Protected chests use custom textures, and a Password Protector item has to be crafted before the protection can be set up. Additional protected block types, visual refinements and fresh security features are on the roadmap for coming releases.
