Wallets
by cheaterpaul
When a player needs a portable store for coins on a server, the Wallets mod adds a wallet item that holds them.
What it does
Wallets adds a simple coin system for servers. Coins come in several denominations, including 1, 5, 20, 50, 100 and 500 coins, and a player keeps them in a wallet item that can be crafted. Coins stored in a wallet can only be reached through commands, so the wallet works as a secure store rather than an inventory bag.
Interacting with a wallet opens a screen where coins can be moved between the player's own wallet and another wallet, and a coin pile can be taken out with a set amount. A coin pile button on the wallet screen handles the extraction, and the screen also shows the value of each coin. A server operator can switch wallets off by editing wallets-server.toml, which sits in the serverconfig folder.
The mod runs on Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 and 1.20.4, and its release files cover 1.16.5 – 1.20.4 across six game versions. Wallets is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and only the server and players need it, since the environment is client and server.
