Villa la Revolution

by BluSunrize

Villa la Revolution changes how illagers, villagers and raids behave in Minecraft on NeoForge, as a rebalance rather than a new set of mobs.

What it does

The mod is a simple overhaul of villagers and illagers, touching things Mojang left unchanged for a long time. It adds a GUI fletching table for crafting arrows, with a 50% increase in output, and lets players craft spectral arrows by combining glowstone with splash potions. Several of its changes make the game harder: raids are made hard to farm, iron farms are nerfed considerably, and the window in which a villager recalls a golem is adjusted, with the respawn rate changed too.

Totems of undying are no longer dropped by evokers unless they come from a woodland mansion, and mansions are filled only with illager mobs such as pillagers, illusionists and witches. Cartographers reset the map points they purchased when a different structure is involved. Most of these features can be switched off through the config file, with the exception of the mansion population, which is handled separately. The author notes the mod pairs well with rebalanced villager trades from Mojang's experimental datapack, and that turning it on in an existing world is a major pain.

What the author says

A simple little overhaul mod for villagers and illagers, adding the things that Mojang never went back to improve. NOTICE: This mod works best when combined with the rebalanced villager trades added by Mojang as an experimental datapack. Unfortunately, enabling those in a world after the fact is a major pain.
