UnOrthodox is a Forge magic mod for 1.20.1 that adds superpowered school-universe content, with powers, items and a progression tree that a player works through in survival.
What it does
UnOrthodox works as an addon for Palladium and is built around the UnOrdindary webtoon universe, which the author describes as a high school setting full of powers. Players gain access to more than 30 obtainable powers, each with its own premise, and a custom method of acquiring them. Some powers are taken from the webtoon, while others are original to the mod. Aura Manipulation is one of the mechanics the mod adds.
Progression runs through a skill tree where each power opens its own path, so the order in which powers are gained matters. Items such as the Spectrum Potion, the Auratic Orb, the Experimental Vial and the Lab Potentiality are part of the route toward powers, and the recipes for them are documented on the author's wiki. Custom achievements track milestones along the way. The mod needs Palladium and runs on Forge only, and it is released as All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
