Unobtainable Blocks lets players receive normally unreachable blocks such as nether portals, fire and end gateways through the item system.
What it does
The mod adds items for blocks that vanilla players cannot normally obtain, including nether portal blocks, end portal frames, end gateways and soul fire. Some existing items that are otherwise only available in the Creative menu can be obtained in survival through commands instead. Petrified oak slabs are included in the set of blocks added this way.
Because the mod is client and server, the server and every player need it for the items to work across a multiplayer world. Files are built for Fabric only, with 12 release versions covering 1.21.5 – 26.3 and 1.4.0+mc26.3 as the latest build for 26.3, dated 2026-10-04. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source, and its source code and issue tracker are public.
