UniLib is a client-side library of shared utilities for rendering, UI design, update checking and translation, built to run across a very wide span of Minecraft versions.

What it does

The library collects APIs that began as part of CraftPresence. They cover rendering and UI helpers, an update checker, and easier access to translation resources. A companion project, UniCore, provides further APIs that sit alongside this one.

The mod targets versions from the earliest Alpha builds through the latest releases, so some settings or API calls behave differently depending on the game version. Files exist for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, Quilt, ModLoader and Rift. Only the client needs the library, and it is released under the MIT License as open source. CraftPresence and DropConfirm require it.

The latest files are 1.2.1+26.3 for 26.3 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, published on 2026-09-20. Game versions run from a1.0.17_04 to 26.3 across 72 release versions, and snapshot builds are published. Because of changes to Minecraft's codebase, some mod data can no longer be retrieved automatically in later data-driven releases.
