CraftPresence sends the Minecraft session, including the world, server and the active launcher pack, to a Discord status card that the player can customize.

What it does

The client detects the launch directory and the launcher in use, then builds a Discord status from them. Several launchers are supported, and for some of them the pack name is converted into an icon key, so a pack named All the Mods 7 maps to the key allthemods7. MultiMC supplies its own icon key property, which the mod uses in place of the converted name.

Text areas of the status card accept placeholders and functions that pull in live game data. The mod offers in-game commands, and players can also create their own icon set. UniLib is a required dependency, the library mod the author wrote to hold shared API code, and the mod runs on the client only, so a server does not need it. Installation needs UniLib on all loaders. Builds for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, Quilt, ModLoader and Rift span 72 release versions from a1.0.17_04 – 26.3, and snapshot builds are published too. The license is MIT, and the source code, issue tracker and wiki are public.

Does CraftPresence need UniLib?

Yes. UniLib is a required dependency from version 2.5.0 onward, and it must be installed alongside CraftPresence on every loader.

Does CraftPresence have to be installed on the server?

No. Only the client runs it, and the mod states that it does not run on the server side.
