TwoFA
TwoFA is a Fabric client mod that stores Minecraft account credentials in a KeePass database and fills them in during login, with two-factor-style server access controls.
What it does
On a client, TwoFA reads account details from a KeePass database and can log the player in automatically when a server asks for a password. Entries can be matched to servers, so each server gets its own credentials. Players can also run commands in the game to add an entry or trigger a login by hand, which covers cases where the automatic path does not fit.
The mod includes a server whitelist and blacklist. A player can be allowed or blocked from a given server address, and these rules are checked before any stored credentials are sent. TwoFA is published for Fabric only and is client-side only, so it changes nothing on the server itself. Versions 1.14 – 1.17 are covered, with 15 release versions and 3.1-1.17 as the latest Fabric file for 1.17, released 2021-06-15. The code is open source under the MIT License.
Key features
KeePass credential storage
Account details are read from a KeePass database, so passwords are kept in one encrypted vault rather than in plain config files.
Automatic registration
When a server asks for a new account, the mod can register the player and store the resulting entry.
Automatic login
Matching credentials are filled in when a server asks for them, so the player does not type a password on each join.
Server whitelist and blacklist
Server addresses can be allowed or blocked, and the rules are checked before any credentials are sent.
In-game commands
Commands let the player add entries, trigger a login manually or override the automatic behavior for a single session.

How it compares
LetMeKnowInGameTime is a Fabric mod for 1.19.2 with the same client-side environment and MIT License, so it covers a later version than TwoFA. Simpler Auth is server-side only and covers 1.16.5 – 1.19 under MIT, so it works on the server side where TwoFA works on the client. Intermission is client-side only, covers 1.16.5 – 1.18, and uses The Unlicense rather than MIT.
