Trident craft tweak lets players craft a trident at a crafting table from three iron swords, two diamonds and two sticks, instead of hunting drowned mobs for one.

What it does

Trident craft tweak is a data pack that adds a crafting recipe for the trident, the iron-and-diamond weapon that normally drops from drowned mobs. Players who never want to fight drowned can make one directly at a crafting table from the listed ingredients. The recipe is set up so the weapon stays costly to make, which keeps it a meaningful item in survival play.

Installation is manual: place the trident craft zip file in the datapacks folder of the world, then run the reload command or restart the world so the recipe loads. The mod does not add items, blocks or screens of its own, and it changes nothing about how tridents behave once crafted.

The server is required, and the client is optional. The license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the data pack is also available for server platforms. Files cover 15 release versions, with 1.21.2-26.3+mod for 26.3 as the latest file.
