TreeMiner
TreeMiner lets a player break a whole tree by mining one of its logs, with the rest of the trunk and the leaves coming down in the same action.
What it does
When a player breaks a log with an axe in hand, the mod removes the connected logs of the same tree in one pass. Leaves that lose their support are then cleared quickly, so the tree disappears without leftover foliage. Trees take a long time to clear by hand, and this shortens that work to a single break.
The mod is a server-side mechanic: the server needs it, and players may add it on the client, but they join without it. Only the logs and leaves of the trees it recognizes are affected. Modded leaves are not handled yet, so trees from other mods may be only partly cleared. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, across 15 release versions 1.21 – 26.1.2, under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, which is not open source.
Optional support is listed for Autumnity, Ecologics, Environmental, Missing Trees, MoreTrees, Silverwood Trees and Whisperleaf Trees. Their trees follow the same rules as vanilla wood where the mod is compatible.
Key features
Tree vein mining
Breaking one log removes the connected logs of the same tree, following the trunk and branches.
Fast leaf decay
Leaves left without support decay quickly after the trunk is removed, so no foliage is left hanging.
Axe-based activation
The effect starts only when the player breaks a log while holding an axe.
Vanilla and compatible wood
Vanilla wood types and some mod trees from supported compatibility mods are handled.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players and server owners who spend much time chopping trees. Since the mod is a server-side mechanic, a server owner can install it and players join without the mod.
How it compares
Fast Leaf Decay is a separate mod that only speeds leaf decay, and it is open source under the MIT License for 26.2 – 26.3, while TreeMiner also removes logs and is not open source. Instant Leaf Decay is a Fabric-only option for 1.20 – 26.1.2 under All rights reserved, so it does not cover the trunk. Simple Ore Miner is server-side only and works on Fabric and NeoForge for 1.21.3 – 26.3, but it mines ore rather than trees.

What the author says
There was previously an issue with the mod, but it has finally been thoroughly gone through, and should now work perfectly. Thank you all for your patience. And, a special thanks to one of the members from the "teammodman" discord for discovering the issue.]_ Trees can take a while to mine, but especially when you…
